The Muslim Refugee Association of South Africa (MRASA) is non-profit organization (NPO) aimed at uplifting the plight of refugees and locals; religiously, socially, morally and academically. MRASA comprises of members from different African countries.
The organization comprises of a dedicated and committed team of professionals who saw the need to provide clear and useful information resources and create ways of how refugees should stay and work together with the local communities.

Deputy Minister of Communications, Stella Ndabeni Abrahams will address the Heideveld community at large about the importance of information technology in poor communities.

The Islamic Propagation Centre International (IPCI) launched Cape Town
The Islamic Propagation Centre International (IPCI) based in Durban has launched its newly established Cape Town office. The organisation is globally recognised for its missionary work and has now spread its wings to the Mother City in partnership with the Auwal mosque in Dorp Street, Bo-Kaap. The new branch will be located in the heart of the historical area, one of the oldest Muslim settlements in South Africa. “The Mother City receives the bulk of the tourist market and Dorp Street is where the tourist must pass on their way to Table Mountain,” said IPCI co-ordinator Nazier Parker.

New Masjid opened “Masjied ul Yunus”
Masjied ul Yunus based next to the N2 in Heidelberg. Address is 33 High street. A yellowish color building with a shiny metal roof.
The Masjied accommodates approximately 120 males and 20 females. JUMMAH salaah is led on Fridays.
DESERT ROSE FUNDRAISER FOR MALAYSIA TOUR – 12 – 23 JUNE 2013
The group will perform their fundraiser concert at the Novalis Ubuntu Institute, Wynberg, at 8pm on Saturday, 1 June 2013. Funds raised from this concert will be used to cover the shortfall of R18 000 for flights for the Malaysia Tour. Any support towards our fundraiser will be highly appreciated and go towards our vision of promoting peace and common humanity through our music.
